This guide explains how to safely set up and use your EcoSmart Jerry Can and Safety Spout, including proper assembly and fuel handling for clean, controlled refuelling.

All EcoSmart Fireplaces are supplied with a 5 litre Jerry Can and Safety Spout.

They are fitted with a Flame Arrester, to stop flammable liquid from igniting if it comes into contact with a spark or live flame.

Attaching the Safety Spout to the EcoSmart Jerry Can

Step 1: Attach the O-ring to the Safety Spout. Secure the O-ring by pushing down firmly to prevent any leaks.

Step 2: Decant the fuel from the e-NRG bottle into the Jerry Can through its opening, avoid spillage. (e-NRG Bioethanol is not available in all countries)

Step 3: Attach the Safety Spout onto the Jerry Can. Do not over tighten.

Step 4: For hard to reach burners, attach the Extension Spout.
